About
Diana Meireles Cardoso (b. 1998, Vila Verde, Portugal) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores facets of the universal human experience. Her practice delves into the complexities of identity, grief, emotions and the aftermath of traumatic memories, not bound by a set style, medium or technique. She uses the process of art making as a form of storytelling through the lens of a first generation immigrant.
Cardoso holds an Associate’s degree from Montgomery College and a Bachelor's degree from Towson University. Her work has been exhibited in the Towson University Student Juried Exhibitions, Montgomery College’s ArtWalk, and local showcases including Raw:Impact and Pancakes & Booze Art show. She currently works and lives in Maryland, USA.
